IT Computer Business Analyst
Translates business strategies into IT requirements and develops business requirements for IT services. Accountable to the IT function for advocacy of the IT policies, strategies, and practices. Communicates with the business customers around IT services, costs, and needs. Translates business needs/strategies into IT requirements and sources IT services to meet requirements (current and future). Understands end-to-end business processes, actively measures the business contribution of enabling systems (functional business system measures), and initiates improvement to the process and/or systems. Works with service managers to ensure services meet customer needs. Provides projected demand for services to the Service Managers. Understands and communicates to the customers on both the cost and value of services provided. Manages detailed business process software portfolio (when applicable). Performs front-end-loading (FEL), business case development and where appropriate leads projects. Works with business-unit-specific vendors and industry groups. Influences customer demand. Reviews range from existing solutions available and present options and recommendations to the customer on which ones to use. Typically 7+ years of experience. Senior level. Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in a given field. Applies a broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems. Influences others to achieve objectives. Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within the department and/or business unit.
